The following Terms of Use apply to all users of wavesofpaper.com (the “Website”) and other services that may be offered by Walker Burgin (“Waves of Paper”, “us”, “we”, “our”, "WavesOfPaper") from time to time (collectively, the “Services”).  BY USING THE SERVICES, YOU AGREE TO THESE TERMS OF USE; IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THESE TERMS OF USE, PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE OR THE SERVICES.

Waves of Paper reserves the right to change these Terms of Use from time to time at its sole discretion without notice. You agree to the changes to these Terms of Use by your continued use of Services after we post notice of such changes. If you do not agree to any changes we make to the Terms of Use, you must cease use of the Services. These Terms of Use were last modified as of August 17th, 2020.

Your Use Of The Services

You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems or networks connected to the Services, by hacking, password “mining” or any other illegitimate means.  You may not probe, scan or test the vulnerability of any network connected to the Services, nor breach the security or authentication measures for the Services or any network connected to the Services.  You agree that you will not take any action that imposes an unreasonable or disproportionately large burden on the infrastructure of Waves of Paper’s systems or networks, or any systems or networks connected to the Services.  You agree not to use any device, software or routine to interfere or attempt to interfere with the proper working of the Services or with any other person’s use of the Services.

You may not manipulate identifiers in order to disguise the origin of any message you send through the Services.

You may not pretend that you are, or that you represent, someone else, or impersonate any other individual or entity.

You may not use, sell or otherwise exploit the Services for any commercial purposes.

You may not use the Services for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these Terms of Use.

You may not use the Services to post or transmit any content that is libelous, defamatory, false, misleading, inaccurate, unlawful, obscene, racially or ethnically offensive, or objectionable, or that you have reason to believe infringes or otherwise violates the copyright, trade secret, patent, publicity, privacy or other intellectual property or proprietary rights of any person or entity.  The Content you post or transmit may not contain profanity, intense violence, nudity or sexually explicit images, hate speech, graphic depiction of sexual activity or behavior, or the depiction of illegal drug use or the abuse of alcohol, drugs, or tobacco.  You may not use the Services to port or transmit content that violates any law or regulation in the United States, North Carolina, your home jurisdiction(s), or any jurisdiction where the content is stored, transmitted, or delivered.

In the case of any violation of these Terms of Use, the Website reserves the right to 1) restrict or prohibit your use of the Services, and/or 2) seek all remedies available by law and in equity for such violations.

Your Use Of Our Intellectual Property

You may not download, manipulate, distribute, sell, steal, edit, transfer in any method, or use the content of the Website in any way besides viewing unless given permission in writing by Waves of Paper ("Walker Burgin"). All content of the Website, including, but not limited to, scripts, images, functions, tools, and text are legally owned by Walker Burgin unless stated by Walker Burgin in writing. All violations of Intellectual Property Law, in addition to what has already been stated, will be pursued to the full extent of the law with the active litigation of the legal contractors and/or legal team of Waves of Paper, Walker Burgin, and the Website.

Intellectual Property is defined as all of the following:

Website Property: The Services, scripts, and any and all data of the Website, including its tools and programming language "linkxScript".

Creative Property: All poetry, essays, short stories, artworks, or any other property written, expressed, or shown. Full rights to license, quote, and completely control is reserved to Walker Burgin and only Walker Burgin. A violation of Creative Property will be pursued to the furthest extent of the law with all resources available to Walker Burgin, Waves of Paper, Commons Group, the United States of America, and man ("Homo sapiens"), limited only by our Maker.

Other Property: All other definitions of Intellectual Property as defined by your government that are included in any way on this website.

You may not copy any of our Intellectual Property in any way, unless you act on behalf and take the responsibilities of a judicial authority or government agency in your place of residence. A violation of this term will result in legal and judicial action against you and any associates directly or indirectly involved, in which prosecuters will be allowed to sentence you to terms equivalent of that of the ruling or governmental body of your place of residence, instead of the sentence normally given to a legal individual of your stature.

Indemnification and Compensation

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us, our affiliated companies, employees, representatives and agents harmless from all liabilities, claims, and expenses, including attorneys’ fees, that arise from your use or misuse of the Services. You agree to compensate the Website and Waves of Paper to the extent in which the Website and Waves of Paper regards appropriate, and to the extent in which is covered under the law of your country, state, territory, and/or place of residence.

Privacy Policy

I do use Google Adsense to keep this website up and running, and Google does tailor their advertisers to you; but I'm not in any sort of control of your data and will never, ever sell your data to anyone for any reason. That's just wrong.
